Anticipating Advent

Well folks, its nearly the end of October and here in Proost-land we are beginning to contemplate Advent.

This period leading up to Christmas is always one of our busiest times, with people seeking resources and refreshment to anticipate this time of coming light and coming hope.

Advent is the name of the season leading up to Christmas and its traditionally a time of waiting.

Japanese author Haruki Marakami wrote that “ ‘For a while’ is a phrase whose length can't be measured. At least by the person who's waiting.”

We hope the resources on our site help you explore the spirituality of waiting. To get the ball rolling we’d like to point you in three directions:

Advent companions

There are plenty of resources on the site which aim to be companions for this time of waiting. We’d like to particularly recommend Ian Adams wonderful Seeking Light and then the rich and amazing We Who Still Wait (available in both download and physical copy.)

Advent resources

We love all the content on the site but people often enjoy the resource element of the Proost collection - things that give you inspiration to explore new ways of being spiritual at this time.

Why not try…

And lastly.

As October becomes November we want to help the Winter blues with our first sale on the new site. Fancy 20% off all of our subscriptions?

20% if our Get it All Download Subscription - was £60 now £48 until 1st December.
